Analog VU Meter

Can you implement an analog VU meter? I'd like to see somewhat of a physical representation of how my sound is being outputted. Could be a separate effect or a built in thing for the synths. I don't want to just rely on the master output to read my mix. Maybe apply it for the centroid, just something to switch back and forth between while you're adjusting your levels.

What about making the audio level meter on the top bar switchable between digital scale and VU scale modes? Meanwhile, for reference, usually -18 dBFS is equivalent to 0 dBVU. Also, the RMS mode is similar to the needle response. That can give you an idea of what you'd see in a VU meter.

Thank you. I'll check that out. Is there a way to Normalize my entire track as well without manually adjusting everything?

Not that I'm aware. Normalisation needs look-ahead functionality and the Studio doesn't provide it. If you're a Patreon supporter of AT, you can download your mix-down and normalise in another software.

sounds like a lot of unnecessary lag. but i guess it could be turned off.

I don't think that something as simple as a level meter would add any significant latency.

I agree with Jordi's idea as well. Switching the level meter at the top so you can see either the digital scale or the VU scale
