Prob. No. 1:
Making a piano synth out of a Heisenberg or Pulverisateur is very hard.
You need tons of effects to make it sound somewhat like it.
Prob. No. 2:
If AT is going to try to be a top DAW they need a piano synth. Every other DAW has one.
Yes I know that making a piano synth is much harder and much more rewarding, sometimes you just want a solid piano to make melodies out of.
Hope you mods and developers understand.

I agree with this - the one main issue I have is that there's no way to really get regular instrument sounds in Audiotool very easily.
I can find presets that almost sound close enough, but they don't feel like a good substitute.
I would appreciate having a synth of just basic instrument sounds really.
Don't developers have to play the same game to make these sort of tools? I get that there are libraries for pretty much every scripting language, and that the AT team can use a library to import a piano sound, but some libraries could cost money to obtain licensing for usage of. Oh and btw, the piano instruments of my Yamaha keyboard don't sound any closer to real pianos than the fake pianos we've got here in Audiotool, meaning it is probably very hard to digitize the sound of pianos.
Feel free to argue with me if I am wrong about anything I said. I'll allow civil arguments, since that is one of the things people should do in this part of the website.
a new synth tool would be great, probably better than just a piano synth
Yeah. Something like a nexus piano or som would be great
Look at FL bro.
And BandLab
something similar to flex by FL studio would be nice
this is actually a good idea.. i wish we could just have a keyboard that you can press the keys and stuff directly n make melodies... it'd definitely help
FR
Yeah, I mean, even free plugins sometimes sound better than AT synths, and I'm being modest
Like seriously I have some really high-quality free plugins on FL
I will say that it is pretty difficult to find a good piano plugin, and I understand why one might not be added, but I will say Minigrand is a VERY realistic sound piano, probably one of the most realistic sounding digital pianos I've ever used, and it's only $60 to obtain a copy. So it is possible to digitize pianos, its just very difficult to.
Are you talking about something that sounds like a piano, or something that works with midi input from a keyboard/controller/computer keyboard?
@callycus I think we'll take what we can get.
Well, one of those things already exists, which is why I asked for clarification from razor 😝
ohhhhh nonono @callycus think like soundtraps keyboard where you have a visual of a keyboard with each key on your computer pertaining to a key n stuff
Yes, that exists.
On each synth, at the bottom of it there's a little keyboard symbol. Click that and voilà.
are you serious...
Yup, enjoy
yu just solved all my problems ngl
If u have a piano you can record yourself playing and import the file as a sample and just add a little reverb which probably would get the most realistic results. Same with guitar
thats a good idea!! i use delay tho 🤗
we have an actual piano synth

YES! HURAKAN, THE KING!!!
Actually, a real piano synth would be better.
FR, or make a sampler and pitch up and down piano one shots, like FL
I don't have a good mic so that's not an option
Yeah fr, AT has a PC keyboard control option
I just want a way to pitch one shots if we cant get a piano vst
