I'm actually not so sure if this would be considered a feature request.
Aside from sponsored constests we don't like advertisements. Most of them sell our user's privacy.
What kind of advertisement do you have in mind?
No ads please, audiotool is growing and more donations will come.
I don't know exactly what the best option would be.
I would immediately dismiss the idea of putting audio ads between a certain number of tracks listened to like on Spotify. That would get annoying, nobody likes those ads.
Definitely a feature request to me.
I think that visual ads on the left/right of pages might make the site look a little... hoaky? Might be worth it in some cases.
Audiotool might bring more people in if the team paid to put ads for Audiotool on other sites.
I see three options:

Then it looks like putting ads on the site is a bad idea. But what about Audiotool putting ads for Audiotool on music-related websites to bring people in?
That could bring in more potential donors and get more people talking about Audiotool.
Actually, it might be too soon for an ad campaign. Audiotool Next isn't complete yet.
