The idea is that each output of the NoteSplitter only outputs incoming notes that fall into a user defined range and ignores incoming notes that fall outside the range. Each output would have its own unique note range. This feature would allow a single NoteSplitter to control up to three sound sources in a split-keyboard fashion, instead of the current layered fashion. This would be especially useful in a live performance situation, where a single external MIDI keyboard or software keyboard assigned to the NoteSplitter could play three independent synths in different zones of the keyboard.
