Add Global Subdivisions for Track (Metronome, UI)

Whilst working on a track in 6/8 I found it difficult to use the metronome to listen to the rhythmic feel.

Users should be able to choose from common subdivisions or create their own (e.g. for 6/8, accent the first and fourth beat--or programmatically: 2 adjacent sets of 3/4 at twice the tempo)

If the output from the metronome for a given time signature doesn't feel right for what you want to do, perhaps you rather need to use a different time signature (for example 3/4)?

That's a fair assessment, but not having this feature is kind of restrictive when trying to use complex polyrhythms in percussive elements, and being able to change them during workflow can be immensely helpful

I forgot to mention, that my favourite implementation of this is on the Tonal Energy Tuner, one of the best app purchases I've made: https://tonalenergy.com/

I agree that when it comes to compound meter, it can be useful to hear the beat grouping. Perhaps the best way to implement this would be to accent secondary beats simply by volume, and leave the higher pitched sound to accent the start of the bar, like now.
