ability to keep recorded audio during count in when using live recording feature

Can we have an option to preserve the "count in" part when using the live recording feature?
Or alternatively, a way to adjust the starting point of the recording in post.

I've experienced live recordings to sometimes be out of sync with the metronome after it's sent to probe and in some cases this results in the start of the recording being cut ever so slightly. This can be problematic i.e. when recording instruments or vocals and the transients at the start of the recording is cut. With no way to adjust the starting point of the recording in post, the only way to fix it is to do a retake.

Hi, I will attempt to explain this better sometime soon as I am quite overwhelmed with work requirements I need to finish for my university course.

In short, I want to start recording the moment you hit the button, no matter how many measures of pre count you have. Once the recording is finished the start marker will be placed at the point where the pre count stopped and the real recording begun.

That way, if things are a little out of alignment, or if the recording started rather abruptly you have the ability to change your start marker and skew the recorded sample to something that would work better.

The second sentence was meant as some context for why I wanted this, but I may have not explained it well enough
