Currently on my profile, I have the tags "Electro" and "Synthonix"
These are tags that I have not used in ages, and I would like to delete them so I only have "Future Bass" remaining as that way it paints a better picture of the sort of music I produce here.
It would be nice to be able to have an option to have an option in preferences to remove tags. not to create ones, as that could be abused, but to remove them.

It has been fixed. Tag updating didn't quite work.
Try to open properties on one of your tracks, and edit a tag on it and click update. Your tags should update afterward's.
Actually, you may not want to do what is being suggested below. I just tried to delete my outdated tags in this fashion, but as far as I can tell, the tags don't simply disappear. Instead, they are replaced by other, equally dumb tags that you've entered on your tracks in the past. You can get the right tags to show eventually, but it takes a lot of trial and error and lots of tag deletions.
