panorama go left/right/side, stereo enhancer can go mono/stereoize. is there anything that can go mono/stereo? nope. please let there be one. i am requesting a new device that isn't a phase inverter for one ear, or a haas effect, just something that strictly controls the balance of mid and side signal. i request this because it is not my preference to use haas effects to make a sound wider. it, in my opinion, heavily alters the signal in an unintended way. thank your time i hope to see this added.

There's the Panorama, next to the TinyGain in the menu.
He already mentioned that in the first sentence. I understand what he means but I personally don't think it's truly necessary
panorama does not control mid/side. it controls left/right and their phases/factor
almost. panorama is an advanced panning device
You can actually create mid-side signals from a left-right stereo pair using the Panorama device. Here's an example: https://www.audiotool.com/track/edxfwee5ik/
looks like rocket science to me. i hope i will come to understand it. i'll play around with it
im actually really excited and interested
that such a chain could be made
wow i opened it up and played around with it a bit and i am amazed. its a bit inconvenient for low end computers but a ground-breaking invention
thank you so mucch
I'm glad it's useful. Maybe there's a way to simplify the chain, I don't know. For anyone interested, I based it on the info from this article: https://www.soundonsound.com/sound-advice/q-how-does-mid-sides-recording-actually-work
i'll try and see if i can
it seems i can reduce a merger
i thought. im working on it
yeah i think this is as simple as its gonna be. i thought i knew what i was doing at first, but then i quickly realized i was absolutely clueless.
As already mentioned: Panorama can be used to add two signals (mid = l + r) or subtract them (side = l - r). You can merge them back together with another panorama:
Please consider asking for https://www.audiotool.com/board/newbie before filing a feature request. A big portion of your requests is unnecessary, unimplementable or not thought-through. It's very time consuming to handle all of them.
I would rather want him to keep posting these requests. It's like a comedy show with a good laugh.
