A new EQ For Audiotool.
It's Exactly the same as the old one, but with 4 instead of 2, allowing more versatilty.

I second this. On my drafts and in many drafts I open from other people I often see chains of several Graphic EQs one after another just to have multiple EQ points.
exactly
No problem, I can live with those EQ chains. It's great to know that you're considering it for the future though.
This is different, though. You mentioned that probe's EQ uses different technology, so porting it is very difficult. However, this would be a temporary and short-term solution that could be removed whenever. It uses the same technology as the current EQ and the art is already made. I just think that this would be a good temporary solution until probe's EQ can be ported.
The main reason why I would like the 4-point EQ is because EQ chains lag my (albeit terrible) laptop and this would help remove lag, allowing me to finish a track I have been working on for months and that keeps crashing because of EQ chains.
I just think that until the Probe EQ can be ported, this should be considered as an option.
Thanks!
how about an infinite frequency EQ
like, why does it have to be limited? the waveshaper isn't. Have you seen the EQ on audacity? it has B-Spline, Cosine, and Cubic mode along with too much frequencies to count. It also has EQ length and it has Highpass, and Lowpass mode. we need that. the last thing we need is a crappy request.
