Let me get this straight: I can't sing. Not because of me or my vocal cords/folds (idk, maybe you do). Because my voice, when recorded, sounds very awful. So how can I modify the vocals in AT so they don't sound awful? I mean, how can I change my voice in AT to acheive that * vocoder/prismizer effect*, maybe by Formant Shifting and Pitch Correction or smth like that? If you know, write it down.
Here are some musicals examples of what I mean:

Best advice? Don't do vocals in audiotool. Do them in another more capable software, and then import it. You're really cutting your nose off to spite your face doing it here idk how else to say it But just like everything else with AT, it's way more complicated than it needs to be in order to be less than competent
Agreed.
Yup, I also think it's best to take your vocals and work on them elsewhere. Some people like to use Autotune, I use Flanger's and Filter's, and Delays a ton with any Vocals Samples I use. My Dad has a Studio set up with a Macdaddy Recording Mic with a Preamp Box hooked up for the ultimate singing/recording live when producing experience. Not to mention all his other equipment...his Keyboard & all his Guitars. Honestly, I'm all about the beats, and I have a minimal style, and I prefer minimal Vocals. For me it just depends on the sound and the vibe of the track, on how you wanna enhance vocals for a track. For FX on Vocals, Chorus for Unison, Delay, Flanger, Filters, and Phasers. Oh and using compression and a High Pass Filter will help on taking some of the bass out of the vocals. Not sure how good AT Beta would on Vocals but, hey you never know until you try.
Fuck off @solosoldier1200_gmail_com
I don't need you to agree with me.
People will just think I'm a creep like you
As far as a vocoder style goes, I would avoid using flangers and chorus, and use distortion, and when eqed properly, can achieve a vocoder like affect. But distortion alone won't achieve it. This would take a lot of mixing, and is not considered an easy task. Never take the easy route, always look for a challenge
Try adjusting the lowend on a eq to the point where u can't understand the vocals, and adjust the gain for optimal volume. The add tube and other effects and adjust as necessary
