Many people seem to disrespect people who use sampled growls and melodies and things of that nature. Honestly, I believe using samples is fine. To an extent. I'd say that if you made the sample yourself, it's fair game. But if you didn't, all hope is not lost. If you cut a sample, rearrange things, or put effects on them, that's great! But just make sure to put extra effort making everything else sound good. If your sample doesn't fit the track, I've got a simple acronym to remember:
D.O.N.T!
Which means, D...ooooooooooon't use it.
So yeah. That's why I think using samples is fine.
