I feel like the genre boards provide a great way to meet producers of a certain genre and start collabs. I'm just wondering why they seem pretty empty, especifically the Techno board.

I think most users don't even know they existed. When the genre update was released it took me months to find out about the board section

The genre boards were a good idea, but I believe it just doesn't work out as expected in practice.
We already have very few users that are active in the boards. Creating more boards just seem to dilute their activity even more.
Most people dont even know that the original boards exist
What if they were moved to where the other boards are? That way all the boards would be visible in one place.
I mean, I guess it wouldn't be too hard to make a post in chitchat containing all the links about the genre boards and then pin it.
Tbh I didn’t know genre boards existed until two seconds ago..
They are broken and haunted by the mysterious legend peter...
The breakage happened just recently and should be fixed by the start of the week.
@spicychicken The idea was to create some kind of realm for each genre - each equipped with a board. That didn't work out in practice, which is why we're rethinking the overall concept.
