What happened to Jonjon?

Jonjon was one of the most influential Drum and Bass artists to have ever graced this site. A master with crunchy beats with addicting bassline melodies and rhythms pumping out bangers like AFTERGLOW and Saxabar. He was best known for his track Legacy, a reggae infused bop that graced his Top Tracks with hundreds of favorites up until the time of his disappearance.

Not only was his music well known, but his personality. Including to myself, Jonjon served as a mentor, teacher, and a friend. He also took a now renowned artist, Akimbo, under his wing and cultivated his raw talent. His influence can still be seen today. On top of that, he was also the first person (maybe the only person) to find a partner on audiotool (a fellow DnB genius Oedipax) and get married. (https://www.audiotool.com/album/fPhr89zyy/) What a Legend.

Unfortunately, he disappeared from audiotool a couple of years back. He took his account and music with him. Even his alt account The Three Pauls dissolved into the dust with no traces. Luckily, his joint account with Oedipax, Envisage, (https://www.audiotool.com/user/grenisu) still stands with two tracks.

Many of you probably weren't around to witness his impact first hand, so I guess this question is directed more towards the older generation of Audiotoolers. What happened to Jonjon?

Any of you know a reason for the account deletion?

I was looking for his account too a few days ago, couldn't find anything. I have no idea what happened though.

Could maybe be linked to the changing rights towards sampling and sample uploading, maybe? his tracks were full of outsourced samples, very good ones and well worked with.
