it's been a while, just checked back if Audiotool on Discord is still a thing but it seems as if it's deleted. Does anybody have any information on where it went, when and why?

Which specific server are you talking about? There's many audiotool related servers. Are you talking about the one run by sonic?
It was called "Audioschool" and was initially promoted here: https://www.audiotool.com/board/chitchat/new_discord
You should ask them directly, then. Instead of making this board post. :-) Maybe the invite expired?
did that as well but no answer yet ;) I used to be on that server but it's not even listen in my Discord anymore. I guess that means that it's simply not there anymore. However, I wrote a thesis about music making on audiotool which also addresses Audioschool. Because of that it's also interesting for me to see what happened to that and what the community thinks about it going offline as it was quite frequented by the time I conducted my research there.

As for why, it stopped being active shortly after it was made. I think maybe the way it was all organized made things a bit weird and it fell out of use pretty quickly. I actually didn’t notice it had been deleted until you mentioned it
It ended up being too ambitious for what I wanted, and it made more sense to utilize the main server for it's purpose

Thanks for your efforts! Yes, it has been a while, I took my time to finish the thesis and the whole formal phd process which is officially over since the end of march 23. It's going to be published soon, will let you know if you're interested
