Screw the sample uploader then Andre. Turn it off for Good! Let those who really want to get creative and learn stay, sheeple can go away.
You will save up some money for new synthesiser production for AT rather than pay it away in case of a legal problems and lawsuits.
"99% of all uploads are illegal". I have to agree with siladozhd and suggest that you just close the gates again, soon. Every day that new illegal samples are added to the library means several times more time later for the developers/moderators to get rid of them.

I hope it ends up working out. I threw a couple of my own drum samples in, and it's really neat to see the different ways people use them.
I hope it works. It's sad to see the potential of creative and well intentioned users being drowned by the need to block the massive amount of abusers.
I foresee ban anyway. No matrer what approval method is invented ( except ID approval and being 18years + old ) will not prevent such samples to be uploaded. Once again you are dealing with children first and foremost. They don't understand this concept yet. Ban the upload and set a group of reputable users that can upload and are willing to create samples for Audiotool. Save AT from being shut down.
I saw user posting. I just bought a sample pack new track coming soon. He doesn't even understand that the fact of him buying it doesn't mean he can redistribute. Hey I just bought a car and it has max speed 420km on the dash. Does that give me the rights to drive such speed on public roads legally?

You're being pretty pessimistic. Let's let them introduce the new system that they've been working on and see how it goes.

Will this be the end of sample uploading... for good? Tune in next week to find out!
good point.
That's one reason why the ideas of democracy or even socialism were designed for a world without idiots.
