Hello everyone,
With the recent sample take down, I thought it would be a good idea to teach people who relied on samples to make music how to make melodies and synths and such.
Basically, I'll just invite people to a track and show them how it's done.
If you are interested in learning, or helping to teach, just say so down below. I will update you on when this will start and such.

thank you for this forum i just need to know the basics and honestly trying to make my own sound is actullly making me feel better and good
I might not be as active during the summer though (I'm using a school computer lol) so I'll see where I'll go with audiotool this year

greaaat welp time to practice man cya
See ya,
ok so the first lesson wont be for a day or two cause im gonna be gone till tomorrow night and the next day's easter, but after that I will start with my first lesson, basic music theory
i will do the lesson by creating another board and linking it here, and also possibly making a demo track to go along with it
okay thanks mr w lol
yo im about to publish a demo of my melody
Wrong board.
I guess i can help with music theorie. I bought a book on it.
lol
Check it low octave on the pulv set your notes to 1/16 and just mess around a lil bit get your notes on it then fiddle with the pulv minor adjustments at a time its a lot longer but so much more worth it
lol my guy
XD
I made this melody, is it better than other one?

Amen
thanks jordi
melodies and synths are fine. But good drums?...
it'll be hard to teach drums without a wide enough sample library, and i figure most of the people who are gonna be doing this are good at drums anyway, but if you want i can do something on basic drum patterns with the TR808
honestly this has been a long time coming (all these trap kids have been ruining AT) but samples are necessary for drums. The sample library is shitty now, and I think that some stuff needed to go but we still need all the basics for a drum (kicks, snares, hats). Anyway, props to you for taking a stand werbdaddy
I'm interested
https://www.audiotool.com/user/djwerbs/ what about acoustic drums?

Here's a video. it might help.
I'd like to see how you make a track, even though I don't rely on samples :)
@djwerbs
Seriously tho
yo this is smart as shit actully
ill help if i can
Count me in
Amazing how it's always the simple ideas that are the most effective.
Actually not a bad idea. We need producers, not sample mashers
ill probably start this soon
Can i be hired to be a teacher?
sure ill figure out what you can do
I may help with chords
Yes LORD YES I NEED THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i don't trust like that
If you need help let me know and i can invite you to a new project and go from there
I'm actually kind of getting sick of all these "FucKiN' TRap kIdS REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" types of people, actually do something about it instead of whining like a child
Good on you werbs
agreed
I'll help! I've actually had once sent drafts to individual people who wanted to learn from me
*Chords, plucks, and other shits
yea this would be good because as a trap maker myself ive learned so much about making chords, synths and all that from the sample block thing
i know its a year but do you still have??
