I've been seeing mixed reviews and opinions about the new look of the website, and I just wanted to know what y'all thought of it.
Comments? Critiques? What do you like about it? What do you not like about it?

I liked the old one a lot, but this one is pretty cool too. Definitely has a lot of work to be done in terms of bugs and overall usability though.
I think it looks really good. Not the neatest design but I’m fine with it. Could definitely use a bit of tidying up but I’m sure that will come eventually, it’s only been out for a day
it looks good, but it low key freaked me out at first XD
I like the UI, but the one thing I miss is being able to see the number of plays on a track without having to click in on it.
I like the direction and how it seems to be aimed towards improving the experience for mobile users, but it isn't great for me as a desktop user. The notification box is a bit clunky now because of the now larger spaces used to display the notifications. The font has become smaller, which is quite annoying for me (monitor screen isnt very high res). Lastly, the boarders and navigation strips don't look appealing to me, but that's just my taste.
I love it. It looks awesome, (the old look will always be with us) but the bug where you get a notification then you can't make or reply to a comment is getting on my nerves
peaceful and yet also interesting althought the over look of it is amazing!
I will say being able to use the site on mobile without accidentally starting and stopping playback on ten different tracks is a huge plus
On the other hand, it makes me think it's time to change my profile pic to something more interesting.
aside from design and bugs, it's a new look
Birdcore.
i can no longer see the number of tracks on my profile. 0/10.
Personally, I like website designs to just stay how they are. When we went from the original white website to the grey one, there was a lot of updates to the site like walls, posts, charts. In that case it was a good upgrade, but a change like this one seems like a side grade and just there to be there. Maybe it's supposed to be better for mobile? It's okay I guess, but I prefer what I'm used to.
Why I like IRL synth hardware, because no devs can come in and change my user experience. It will be the way it is, and it'll stay that way until I die lol
Nuff said, lol
I don't like that the notification bell always has a blue circle next to it, even when I have 0 notifications. I also don't fully like how the new site layout looks when I'm browsing on my phone. Besides these nitpicks, I really enjoy the new website theme.
I hate it. Not just because it's broken, but because of what it represents from the current direction of audiotool
I am also having trouble with the notification box, nothing shows up when I click it. It tries to show me but it's glitched. I tried on a different browser and it did the same thing.
What does it represent?
If I were to say exactly , it’s very likely you would not like to hear it
Looks different to me at least. It will take time for people to get used to.
everything but the notification system is pretty decent.
I just don't like how notif just pop, u can't "x" it out, and the blue circle is annoying too because it even shows it when I don't have any new notifs -_- lol
yeah agreed, and same lol
XDDDDD
I hear stuff I'd not like to hear on the daily. What are you trying to say?
facts
he's probably saying that it's going to turn out like Bandlab
or something like that
(where everyone self promotes XD)
No. Let’s start at the very beginning, when this update was announced. Quite a few of people didn’t like the announcement because they believed that it was unnecessary and no one wanted it (no I’m not just making an assumption I’ve asked people their opinion about), there was still quite a bit of people who didn’t like the new waveforms etc. we fast forward to when the update releases and not only isn’t unnecessary, it comes broken. There are many bugs I could list, but to keep things short, unless you really want me to list all of them I’m going to skip that for now. What does this mean. Well if you look at how Audiotool has been for the past year, the last real update we got was quasar, which was over a year ago, and even before quasar came out, updates had slowed down drastically since the next days. Here we have an update that was unnecessary but was also not ready, so I feel like it was rushed. Why was it rushed? Could it have been done just for the sake of updating, so the Audiotool update drought appears less bad than it is. The thing is this didn’t really work, because a lot of people I talked to told me that this update made them angry because it felt like the priorities were in the wrong place, believing that they should have for example focused on a much more glaring issue, with the site or studio. One that was brought quite a bit was probe. This update has not really added any real reason since is release, as to why it was needed. Mobile is still broken, if anything it feels like we have gone backwards. Everything takes up so much space, the waveforms look terrible. Forgive me if I’m not terribly convinced that there was really any thought behind this update, about what the site actually needs. As to why I haven’t left Audiotool yet, I have one last piece of hope for the DAR update, if that update is something that I believe is actually something necessary for the site, I will stay, but right now given the current direction recently, with nothing updates 1/2
I don’t hold much hope, all though I still have some 2/2
You do realize the studio didn't change at all between the heisenberg update and AT next, right? That was a five year period. Why is it now that you're losing all hope?
Because before next, we didn’t know that it was possible for AT to actually get useful updates often(and the community wasn’t trash), now we have experienced that it is possible, I’m sorry if I’m not happy returning to the status quo, and I’m not alone.
oh my god so many words im not reading all of that
nvm i read it all ignore what i said
