First of all, i'm not the best at expressing my thoughts and feelings, especially in english which isn't my native tongue, i'll try my best.
Vizil's comment on my wall made me realize that i've been using AT for the past decade, almost half of my life and that it introduced me to music, AT is still my "main" instrument today.
Without AT i don't know what i would have done of my life, after highschool i've been going to a music university because it was the only thing i really cared about and today i'm (almost) a public school music teacher. I remember booting computers on Ubuntu so i could use AT at highschool (passing by the admistrator blocade), i've used it to made music for a theater play.
Audiotool helped me understand music, gave me a chance to create pieces of this art that i love, and helped me go through really tough times and still is today.
It's a really powerful tool we have access to, for free. I've seen AT getting better and better everyday by the massive work getting done by everyone involved.
Making such a powerful collaborative music tool for free is quite an achievement, you all can be pretty proud of yourselves.
I'm not really invested in the audiotool community but i love seeing all those people creating such wonderful music everyday and having such a benevolent place to express themselves.
