Is there a chat board where artist come together to chat? I joined a couple of months ago and have 1 follower (probably a fluke.). How can I meet more artist in audio-tools?

you gots ta experiment. When I first came to audiotool I was seriously interested. Don't be using all samples either. We got synthesizers, drums, and effects. Heyyyy turn up

  • Check the newest tracks. Between the [rapper] type beats and pretentious tracks (which basically consist of premade beats and melodies) there is always some gold.
  • Favorite tracks you genuinely like, that just might make somebody's day!
  • Establish an image/theme for your profile! You can hang onto some colors and items of choice, or if you like to take photographs, use them as covers! Here are some examples of user's image's:
    ++ Most of opaqity's cover images are photos of landscapes and buildings with low saturation to give off that nostalgic feel.
    ++ Some of ford.'s older (+1 year old) songs have pastel colors with items in the middle and a lot of the newer ones involve water, plants, and people. Some anime screenshots are in there too for the a e s t h e t i c.
    ++ Me? I choose black, white, and a kind of greyish purple haha
  • But most importantly: Get involved. Talk on the board, comment on other people's tracks. That will definetely make at least some people check your profile.

a little piece of advice: You only have a limited amount of minutes you can upload on soundcloud, so if you're not planning to go pro (paying monthly for VIP) then I'd tell you to stick to youtube. Cheers!
