Why does the Tr909 machine have a heart sticker that says "love" and the two strips of tape above it? Is this a reference to something? I also noted that the Tb303 had stickers as well. My guess is that this is a shoutout to rave culture as well as to Japan, where Roland originates. One sticker on the 303 has some japanese writing on it and the other has what looks like a sakura tree.

I think they're there to "cover up" the names of the devices, as tb-303 and tr-909 are most definitely trademarked Roland names.
Well, the machines are called "tb303" and "tr909" which is pretty similar to the original machine names.
Also, the Tr808 doesn't have any stickers on it.
