Don't know if its me just being dumb, but i cant figure out how to keep a loops bpm the same when my overall track is a different bpm.
cant find the answers on any board or tutorials so some help would be appreciated :)

I believe you are looking for timestretching. When you use a loop of a different tempo in the timeline you have to stretch the audio, which can be done by right-clicking on the loop and selecting Audio Stretch Mode> TimeStretching.
Thank you. i did try that at one point but i found it just made it sound strange instead. nothing like the original loop...
