Can you check if you have the same problem on SoundCloud? I also experience this problem every now and then. Mostly when I have opened over a dozen of audiotool-tabs. I guess it's related to https://www.audiotool.com/board/general/next_first_aid - maybe some of the tips apply to you as well.
