Petiton

hello audiotool
this is a petition for audiotool update,

This petition is for a certain synth to be added to our array of machines, it is called the Roland Juno. (learn more somewhere else). But the Roland juno would be a good addition to our synths because of it's good sound and easy to use.

( i wont be mad if this wont be added but it would be pretty cool ! )

well i looked at the JUNO-60, seems to have pretty much the same functionality as pulv, without some, but easily added with other devices

"well i looked at the JUNO-60, seems to have pretty much the same functionality as pulv, without some, but easily added with other devices" yes ik but it has tri so you can have 2 wavelengths and a sub. would be much better with one machine than having me lag around the entire thing and rage quit >:6

well whatever, would be nice to have another synth anyway. something with different flavor. just like how heisenburg sine is different to pulv sine, same with sawtooth and so on...

so, as someone who does a lot of work with roland gear I can say that the pulv is capable of doing most that the juno uno can do. The layout is actually a bit easier to work with on a pulv because you don't have to menu dive as most roland keyboards would have you do. The only thing with the pulv is that you have to really understand how you're getting the sound you want cause it can go from 0 to 100 with the turn of a knob.
I think the largest difference is the chorus on juno synths is legendary and really hard to emulate digitally.

how about a sampler synth that would just change the whole community in terms of music
something that never existed here but is standard on every modern DAW

FM and PM are the same digitally, in real terms, from what I can gather. Thus, the Heisenberg does exactly the FM function you are asking for.

sample+keyboard? like you could use it for like pitch bending samples? i thinks thats what he's talking about

So a sampler with the function of having a sample assigned to multiple notes, rather than one note per sample imported? If using C3 as the root note for the sample, any notes above or below that, which are assigned to the sample, then change the pitch of the sample by the relevant semitones, yes?

Here is how i imagine the sampler to work:

You import a sample into the machine
Then you are able to control the start time and end time of a sample, to specify what part of the sample you want to use.
Then when you press a key, it'll pitch it up or down a couple semitones. There should be a knob to control the actual pitch of the note so you can make sure its in tune with your synths.
There should also be a button to enable/disable looping when holding down a key. When you press a key down and hold it down, while loop button is enabled, the selected area of the sample will loop until the key is released.
