anything captain beefheart. also Standing On The Corner put out an a crazy album called Red Burns which I recently listened to really creative stuff, @mannedaircraft pointed me in the right direction with that one.
i found this one album recently called Horses In the Sky by Silver Mt. Zion. i would definitely recommend it. it's one of the best albums i've heard in a while.
