TL;DR (Too long, Didn't read):
I dislike when people import songs from FL, Ableton, etc. to audiotool because audiotool is more than just another music based site like soundcloud, and that by importing your full song from another DAW, you are effectively bypassing the actual DAW part of Audiotool, which can imply to some that you only care about growing your own name, using this site's community as just another music promoting service. If you're going to use audiotool, then do not neglect or underestimate the DAW aspects of it, otherwise, it can stay on soundcloud or others alike. I do understand if you want to import sounds and instruments to spice up your song using Audiotool, and I will keep an open mind to all perspectives on the matter.

My Full Thoughts:
Im just going to be blunt and say that I dislike it when people import full songs from another DAW into audiotool, and that I also don't like how normal it is becoming. I see it much more with people who produce Hip hop and Trap (and i'm not calling them trap kids, it is not appropriate to me. I'd rather judge the individual than the whole scene), and i'm not trying to direct any hate their way, i'm just saying that that is what I have observed during my 4 years on the site. It is clear that not everyone who makes trap imports everything from other DAWs.

**There are two main reasons as to why I dislike it: **
1. Audiotool isn't another soundcloud. Audiotool is its own DAW with its own community.* It is also stated in what the Sample upload T&C does not allow -- "Full songs made in other DAWs or fully-fledged music loops (Keep in mind that audiotool is about learning and sharing music. It is not just another music publishing platform such as SoundCloud)" *
2. It isn't really fair to Audiotool artists. We all know that Audiotool has its limitations. For some, these limitations are unacceptable, which can sometimes lead to the mindset of "Man fuck this trash ass site, i'm moving to Another DAW (I know this isn't how everyone thinks, and im not trying to discourage anyone from moving to another DAW, its just that that's the usual crowd that I see. It is completely understandable if you want to move to something with more to offer, but still, do not underestimate Audiotool please). For others, this actually promotes creativity, which can also contribute to artist growth. As it stands right now though, you have a lot more options on other DAWs than on audiotool, which allows for better music production in general, and I completely understand and accept that, but when you go and bring your full FL song or Ableton song or whatever to audiotool that you spent MANY hours on, its kinda like saying "Hey, I don't really care for the DAW aspect of Audiotool because its not very good, but here's my song I made on a DAW that I think is much better.. " It just seems so very rude to me and to other Audiotool artists who work hard with what they can on here, and then it just gets drowned out and forgotten by the track that was made somewhere else.

What I can understand:
Importing samples or recordings of instruments to add to a pre-existing Audiotool song, Importing songs to mix or at least at to a little bit using Audiotool synths or effects, Pretty much almost anything regarding samples that involves audiotool in a unique or meaningful way

I am passionate about this subject because, of course, I really like Audiotool. Despite my love for Audiotool though, I don't want to be overly biased to the site because I understand the flaws of the site well, and the benefits of switching to other DAWs. I also don't want my passion for the site to make me overly stubborn about my opinions, so I ask for your perspective on this. When I first talked about this, I noticed that when someone had an opinion about this that seemed completely opposite to my own, it angered me, but I want to cast aside that anger and to keep my mind open to understand any constructive opposing opinions instead of just blowing it off as bullshit. I need your opinions!!

honestly i'm fine with it even though i don't like it. you have to understand that some people misunderstand AT s just another importing site when it isn't.
thank you for realizing that this whole anti-trap kid shit is meaningless and that copyright is theft though :3
You've basically hit the mark, yes
