Moving to Firefox Quantum?

Litonix · started 2018-03-30 23:35 · updated 2018-04-04 12:34

The new firefox is out and it's called Firefox Quantum. It's fast and safe and is now up with Google Chrome. It has a built in web defense as well to prevent ads and harmful pop ups. I was wondering if Audiotool Next can be supported here as well? Since it's more protected and fast.

It's actually really nice and simple to use. It's (in my opinion) easier and faster than chrome.

It's really fast. It took Chrome 13 seconds to load amazon.com Where Firefox Quantum took 5 seconds.

I ran some quick tests, and was surprised by the performance. I think we can support it with little effort now, but unfortunately, there is still no audio worker in sight on Firefox.

Will Firefox be able to prevent Next from crashing like it does in chrome?

Do you think people with slower computers can do more with Firefox than chrome now?

Wait so if this works out. Will it be an easy transition?

I think that's more a problem with the app than the browser. It is only in beta, after all.
