Does anyone have good links at hand on how to learn to play the piano? I don't mind if it's theory, text, video, etc.
Everything I found so far just took me through the very basic stuff and than started to request money for everything else. I don't mind to pay for a good tutorial, but it has to be clear upfront and should be fair.
Lot's of tutorials seem to contradict each other.
Anything you had success with?

Are you looking to compose or improvise?
Or do you want to play a specific song?
Have you tried this one? https://pianonanny.com/ I'm also interested in learning, did some research and it seemed to be one of the best. I still need to find time to start though.
Playing some popular pieces would be nice but in the long run I'm aiming for improvisation.
Thank you, will have a look!
I could rush through lessons 1 - 7 (all baby steps) and lesson 8 is completely unsolvable to me at the moment :(
There are so many things they bring into play at once.
I'll have to see how to handle this.
Another resource I recently found: https://pianoscales.org/ The most valuable information on it is a complete reference of all scales with their correct fingerings for practising. Piano fingering information is hard to find online.
And the Hanon piano exercises are a standard for serious piano students: https://www.hanon-online.com/
