As you all know, with the upcoming release of Next, samples will be coming back.
That being said, I'm looking for experienced artists, sound designers , or musicians who are interested in creating completely open, free, and legal samples. Examples would be recording real instruments, recording vocals, foley sounds, or designing your own synth sounds, loops, or drums. I'm hoping we could all form a collective and contribute quality sample packs to the Audiotool sample library in a positive and legal way.
If it sounds like something you are interested in, let me know here.

I'll give it a shot
i'll see if i can help at all with this
Very good idea
Bumping this, great idea. What exactly do you have in mind for the release of samples by this collective? Doing it through a specially created new profile? Using a common naming scheme? Could this collective also include device presets in addition to samples?
Those are all good ideas. Right now it's just as far as inviting people to a Discord where we can talk about it.
I would like to help with background noise and other stuff :)
Ill try to contribute

Mind if I get an invite?
can i be invited too?
Yeah i can help out if needs be! :D
Yes, I am interested
actually, I can do that. Not so much on kicks and snares, but with other perc, yeah!
the invite is invalid
we don't have much samples currently
Bless you heroes
I can go to a band room to record some organic instruments if you'd like.
I started releasing some heisenberg based drum samples if you are interested. I'm using the format hb_hat_01 (heisenberg_type_number) if you want to take a look, for now I'm thinking one shots but some loops would be great too.
Do you want some sumad sound?
he you can find me on smd
If I had Ableton, this is something I would be trying to work on regardless. I've wanted to try making sample packs for Audiotool for a while, but I haven't had the resources.
Actually, that is a good question to ask: If I designed things like bass sounds in plugins like Massive and Serum (from scratch) and exported the audio to put in a sample pack for the AT Resource Collective, would that be ok?
Yeah, that's legit
I have guitar rig ready to go
