I was listening to Virtual Riot last night, and I really liked the music. One thing all riddim producers have (had) in common is FL Studio. So I thought, maybe I'd move to FL Studio, so I tried FL Studio out. I watched a youtube how-to and I couldn't navigate single thing on FL except for the BPM. All I was able to do was change the BPM from 130 to 140. And then I tried drums, but that shit wouldn't work. I'm never moving to FL. Audiotool for life, kids.

That's the spirit
i tried to use FL too and i found it too confusing
Lol
FL is a relatively difficult transition from audiotool and takes a little getting used to, but I've managed to learn how to use both (though I'm still not well versed in FL)
Like @burggg does, I think it's important to experiment with different softwares if you can, and try and learn as much as you can. It helps you apply things from other DAWs to even audiotool (or vice versa).
Even though music is one of the most unique forms of expression, popular (electronic) music has most of the same elements across the board, and developers of these software cater to that.
lol im the exact same as you Apollo
