I wished you would just have migrated the first operational version to a standalone software (happily I would pay for such a device). Especially after the "glitches/stutters" trouble (which I still got till then) due the last update of Chrome or Flash or whatever the implementation of Audiotool into browsers did show the weak point of that approach - "stuff" can happen that no one can predict because no one knows what the developers of the different browsers will alter via update or new versions etc.).
I really like the approach of Audiotool (I got FL,-Studio and Ableton too) - it's far more intuitive and works well for the kind of music I wanna produce, but compared to the first version the new one is - still just a big building site.
At least on my system I still got glitches, stutters, and stuff and everything operates far slower, and projects I was able to "produce" on the old version I cannot operate on the new one without stuttering - so I guess the new one needs far more computing power, which imo is no good, especially as I can run e.g. FL-Studio without any trouble (of course depends on the "size" of the project"). Also, Audiotool Booster is a Java application!? Chrome does not support Java anymore... At least I did not get the Booster operating. I also tried and reinstalled Firefox and got the message "App won't load" - at the moment Audiotool is a rather frustrating experience.
My wish - don't bother and waste your resources with programming Audiotool for different browsers but redesign it and make it a "traditional" software device, maybe with some tool for collabs etc. On top you would not be responsible for the use of samples etc. and on top we could upload sounds, guitar takes etc. without any time restriction. Imo Audiotool would be really a competitor for "real" DAWs if the use would not depend on browsers and an internet connection and other topics like data managment etc.
Anyway, hope you get the job done and Audiotool will be sometime usable again.

use the audiotool booster (https://www.audiotool.com/app/booster/). Audiotool is designed for browsers; it's the entire point of the service.
