Ok, so whenever the server crashes, there's a window popping up saying that it crashed. There are three options:
"Ok", "Not ok", and "Download Ableton".
So I am just wondering, is that a "small" advertisement of Ableton on audiotool? Are they partnered? Are they friends? Or it's just some random April fool joke?

It redirects to AT so it is most likely a joke lol
That is actually good point lmao…
It’s like saying: “Hey, this ain’t working; we are advertising ehm giving a BETTER option than this site”
But I dunno meh.
Yeah, that is a good point, my theory is that this was supposed to be for April 1st joke, but they didn't remove it for some reason, maybe because they forgot about it.
Ableton apart, the whole pop up is a joke. I mean, it crashed. Whether you're 'OK' or 'Not OK', it won't change anything. AT is available to anyone having access to internet regardless of their financial situation, and our horizon of possibilities with this website is huge. Some people tend to forget that at a time where so much seems accessible for 'free' on the internet (although it's usually in return of private data selling and a myriad of ads), and they do not realize the amount of passion, skills, time and financial resources required for something as unique as AT. Just to be clear, I am not referring to you mate ;)
it's an inside joke
an easter egg more or less
Confident reply - ur sure?
that's how I see it, but it looks like so unless anyone else can humor me here
FL studio or Ableton
Read everything again
im asking for an opinion, this is not a question retaining to this post lol
but which is better fl or ableton
Audiotool
you know it is a pretty funny joke
but the "shit happens" one is better
Ableton since 2001
ok??!!
I use FL... I got the signature version... I like ableton as well... But rlly it's not the DAW that makes good music, it's the person using it... Both are good...
that's only germans trying to be funny :-)
as of now, AT has no connection to the Ableton guys (besides respect...)
Oh, they removed it.
It's now replaced with "Updating. Please wait.".
Oh, actually no, studios are just down.
