How important is everything surrounding the music to the experience of listening to it? Would the experience be the same if you took the track or album art away, if you didn't market it any special kind of way, and if you generally removed any visual aesthetic? For me, I feel the album art is especially important in establishing an aesthetic or mood, and important to the listening experience in general (perhaps even as important as the music itself.) For instance, when browsing online or in stores for albums, the art is the first thing that will catch your attention. Assuming no previous hearing of the album's contents, that's your introduction, and it sticks with you. Even if the art has nothing to do with the music, it will give off some kind of impression, and that's important imo. What're your guys' thoughts? Even outside the realm of album art, like general marketing?

A good example of how music is important is to watch Ice Cream Man movie and just laugh at it because it's several cats playing the organ
yeah, cover art is super important to the overall feel of tracks most of the time.
yeah i feel you and can agree with you on this
