Hey all! I've been on this site for a while and have struggled with a few things. One of the most important is pitch change. How can I manipulate the pitch of a sample without putting it into a machineste.

You can use a pitch delay, but it will delay the sample by a couple milliseconds.
Delay amount is tempo based and measured in musical units. The smallest delay (1/16) will be significantly longer than 2 milliseconds.
not if you have the tempo really fast
Still 15 milliseconds at maximum bpm (1000) :)
I meant a couple of milliseconds as in "less than a second" sorry if that was unclear.
On 120 BPM it will be around 105~ ms, which isn't ideal. But you can always offset the audio.
