How do you manage skill differences in collaborations?

Hi everybody,
hope you're all doing fine at home! I'm wondering about how to realize collaboration with other users due to individual skill differences as they might occur when a more experienced user and (for example) a newbie decide to start collaborating.

In your experience, what might happen and how is that?
How do you (as collaboration partners) cope with this to achieve a result that you're happy with?

Stay safe everybody <3

experimentation, and a little bit of guidance and help. also, working at alternate times also helps, because the less skilled one isnt just sitting there with nothing to do.

thanks for the reply! what does experimentation mean in this respect and how is it that it helps leveling skill differences?

well it helps the one with more skill figure out where the one with lower skill is, and it kinda helps the one with lower skill learna little more so he comes out of the collaboritton having gained something more than just a few more plays
