At first, when I was younger, an elementary school friend of mine (we weren't really friends) was really into Greek mythology, and some of it rubbed off on me. With a little bit of research, I found that Apollo wasn't only the Greek god of the sky but also of music. Then, I also had this weird yearning to read through the dictionary or thesaurus because I really liked words, (idk why). But in scanning through the thesaurus one day I came across this word I hadn't seen before "euphoria" having one of the synonyms of "well-being". And then, a little later on, (after being inspired to make music after watching C418's seminar from Minecon 2012) I put the two together
Apollo Euphoria.

My first real album, made before I joined Audiotool, was released under the name Tre Stuck, which was suggested to me by my friend Jane (who also makes music as Planet Jane, though she went by Mojave Music back then). I switched to the original spelling after I put that album out, and after I figured out about AT and joined up I dropped the second 'e' in "Whatevr" to make it easier to find me (in a move I totally stole from one of my favorite bands, CHVRCHES).
Later I found out a dude named Treva Whateva existed and put out one EP on Ninja Tune back in, like, 2005, but he hasn't released anything since.

I accidentaly created it when me and two friends were bored and thought "hey let's see who can make the best graffiti thing". We freaked out when I easy peasy drew it in a few seconds. Half a year later, I realized, it matches my name! The graffiti consists of the letters Z and O, and the underscore turned about 90°. To this day I still can not comprehend this amazing coincidence.

My name is stolen from Toy Story 3 (I know, right? Of all things). I was like 10 when I came up with it, and then when I got into making music, I made Velocistar my producer alias. It's a name that just stuck with me. There's nothing too special about it.

When I first started out (no tracks, just messing around with audiotool) I was about 12 or 13. Having been a gamer since I was young, I had cheesy names all the time, usually involving the word "Queen". So I was like, "I can't think of anything cool. Let's do QueenElectric." A few years later I was getting tired of the Queen thing and wanted something new to spice up my gaming/hopefully-to-be music production.
One day I was playing Band Stars by Halfbrick Studios on my Kindle. Needing a name, and of course loving my good old video games, the idea "PXLSound" popped into my head. To me, EDM music and video gaming were similar. Yet the thing of "PixelSound" seemed to long and boring, so I settled for "PXL" as the abbreviation. Therefore, in my head the name PXLSound just really fit perfectly. I played that neat app game for a while and then decided, "What if I could make music?". I had given up a few years prior under the name "QueenElectric" with nothing more than a few seconds of work.
So here I am today as your good old PXLSound. Sure, I don't have music to show for it yet, but I am currently working on my first track. Quite nerve wracking to be honest!

It turns out that a hexeract is a theoretical 6-dimensional hypercube, and me being the science/math nerd that I am, I thought it would be "cool" to have it as my username (with the redundant "6" at the end, of course). Anyway, I'm begining to thoroughly regret my decision and will no doubt change my alias soon (along with the jacked-up artist logo I made using a free-trial photo layering app on my phone).
there's this youtuber guy called thinknoodles, and he said in one of his videos to "make your username random so it can stand out more" or something like that. This name popped up into my brain, like a voice from the heavens, and it stuck for forever.

its actually kinda odd. it started out last semester in intro to biology during last block, i always wrote the block number, 4th. and i noticed that you can connect the three characters. after about two months of writing 4th like a non italicized version of my logo, without the line goin through and the words and triangles, i decided to start making it italicized. and eventually, i decided to make it my new logo, instead of a cool humanish looking version of gumball, with gumball in red at the bottom. aaaaaaand then with a lot of thinking up a name to go with the new logo, i came up with "the fourth dimensional gamer" and "the fourth dimensional symphony"
im very interested in space and in the universe and i had always been fascinated by the Apollo missions so when i started producing music i decided id name myself after that because of my interest in the universe
One day i got this image in my head of someone waving some kind of wand and these big waves of color flew out of it, like a person weaving things you would see in your dreams.
Hence the name, Dreamweaver. It's kinda gay but whatever.
It also comes from the fact that since I'm a nerd I thought of the coding program Adobe Dreamweaver.
My height used to be 5'7" and my favorite number is 57. I'm obviously no longer 5'7", but my favorite number is still 57. I'm a guy, so I just put "Mr." in front of "57" and it stuck lol
My mother actually writes books, and one of the books she wrote was about a girl who lost her memory from hitting her head too hard. Basically, now her boyfriend has to get her to fall in love with her all over again. One of the title ideas was "Head Trauma Romance", and she eventually ruled it out. However, I thought it was a bomb ass name for a band or something like that, so I took it.

And I thought to myself, "Self, that's a great idea." So I got to work on different weird sounding names.
I settled on Vulken, because I like fire, and the name's pretty much Vulcan with weird spelling. So when I got out of ISS and went home, I changed my name to Vulken.
At the time, Avengers 2: Age of Ultron was about to come out, so I was gonna make an EP called "Audiotoolers: Age of Vulkron" which I thought sounded kinda cool, and I thought, "I'll just change my name back later"
I never came out with the EP, and I never changed my name back.

i got that image in my head because i wanted to be a singer and i was really full of myself
i wanted my friends to accidentally like me so i was thinking "i'll make an anonymous singer persona"
i thought i could make that image "once i got the money from my singing"
