How to add an automation track?

How do i add a track (for example a frequency filter or a note track) to the editing space in Nest Beta.

right click the device/knob and click add note track or create automation

If you want to create a note track, right click on your device (synth or drum sequencer) and click on Create Note Track

right click on any knob you want to change the value of and you will have an automation option
