my favorite anime is probably Your Lie in April, it was also the first proper anime I ever watched. Dr.Stone, MHA, and probably some other ones I watched a long time ago that I can't remember are close seconds. :p
Everything between Seinfeld and Shameless on comedy side and Fay Donovan and The Wire on drama side. Never watched an anime series to be honest. Only the Akita movie when it came out but I was to high to remember
TV - Star Trek: DS9, Breaking Bad, Sneaky Pete, Daredevil, and The Walking Dead.
Anime - Jojo's, Space Dandy, Hajime no Ippo, Hunter x Hunter, and Mob Psycho. I really like MHA and Demon Slayer but I read ahead in those and my favorite bits haven't been animated yet. This is kinda true for Jojo's but to a lesser degree since there is stuff that released already that's close to my favorite and the anime is just that good.
They're anime inspired shows made in the west. That much is obvious. But most people take the definition of anime as simply japanese animation. Mainly because that's the Japanese word for animation. But since more of it is being made in the west, that has gone under debate more and more. I'd just call it "American-anime." Because from a music stand point I would call any non-American hip hop...."Hip hop." Maybe "UK Hip Hop" or "Korean Hip Hop" but I can't just call it "Hip hop" style if it's literally hip hop music. You know what I mean? It's kinda weird to get hung up on where the product was made. Especially since alot more Korean stuff is slipping into the market and people aren't even noticing. Maybe since they're not from the west it's not a big deal.
Matt Dillon-Dallas Winston
C. Thomas Howell- Ponyboy
Rob Lowe- Sodapop
Ralph Macchio- Johnny
Emilio Estevez-Two-Bit
Patrick Swayze- Darry
Tom Cruise - Steve

AND WATAMOTE!
Ray Donovan of course
my friend recommended watamote but I didn't really like it all that much lol
I'm just a nerd for characterization
By far, my answer has to be Avatar: The Last Airbender. Depending on who you are, it could be classed as both.
no
it cannot be classified as both
ree
avatar is anime inspired, but not anime
“Depending on who you are”
I never said I classified it as such.
it is a fact though; it cannot be classified as both.
@balisthey would rwby be considered a similar offender? Me and my friend had an argument about it the other day and now I'm curious again

https://www.audiotool.com/user/evilpanda107/ And yeah, RWBY is like the second major show people debate about this on next to Avatar.
Seinfeld is hilarious dude
The Outsiders. Francis Ford Coppola. Amazing movie! Made in the 80's, and I am a 2007 baby. I cried so much.
It is not anime tho!
Not even a TV show ;) Watched it when it came out on VHS. Not Copolla's best but what a cast
I love it tho. Johnny is my fav, but Soda is cute
Hehe I dont remember who was who. But Tom Cruise, Matt Dillon and Rob Lowe were in it
Ye man. The king of all comedy shows

Check out Fire Force if yall haven't. Same creator behind it. It's almost at the end of it's season so most of the episodes are out.
my friend really wanted me to watch that, probably gonna take a break from watching Naruto and go for that instead for the moment.
