ok, that's kickass. I'm looking into Redout right now. I love the aesthetic, and it looks like it's got such a savage sense of speed, like a better execution of F-Zero.
Compared to wipe'out they cared for physics and works on PCs - it's harder to learn but very rewarding. Awesome sound and music design.
Whenever I have a break of some weeks and come back I'm like - WTF!?!!? still faster than I remembered!

If I had to pick a series, The Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi series. (epecially 2 and 3). The gameplay and fight style is unrivaled by any other dbz game (in my opinion) BT3 has a great roster and fighting techniques, BT2 has an outstanding soundtrack (best out of any dbz game imo) and the best storyline. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fWIOO4lEF40

Horizon Zero Dawn on PS4. I got a PS4 just for that game, and nearly 100% completed it because I wanted to see everything in it.
