Ethics of sampling

Audiotool these days is riddled by millions of tracks called type beats, which tend to use samples as a main melody, is this ok or should these trap kids make there own melodies/chords

I think everyone should figure outasynth or two. They're just too useful if tools to pass down.

I find this rather boring and/or annoying but one can handle that by simply not liking them and giving a hint in the tracks's board :)

I consider those tracks as noob-music. Which is fine as everyone has to start somewhere. Maybe we should provide more tutorials on how to convert those overused samples into a synth.

Just some random thoughts of me :)

I'm all for sampling. A better producer will make use of samples more skillfully than a less experienced producer. Also, in some cases like Vaporwave, Hip Hop, or French Filter House digging for and manipulating a great groove can be part of the art. Unfortunately we live in 2018 where the intellectual property zeitgeist would rather sue creativity into oblivion than have artistic expression.
