To strech a sample you make it play at a new speed, you can change the playback mode of a sample by right-clicking it and selecting "Timestretch" this will make the sample sound choppy but it does not change the pitch
Yes you can, you drag the little square at the bottom right of the audio spectrum. Up and down makes it go slower or faster but last the same amount of time. Left and right makes it stretched and the whole sample is played
