It's just about as intuitive as DAWs come, and you can even install it on your phone (great for producing when you can't get to a computer). The only downside is that it isn't too great with audio. You can still use samples, but you'll most likely have to chop your loops (if you happen to use loops).
I can't speak for it myself because I've never tried it before, but it looks viable. I personally use FL for mixing and mastering, but that's not free (although they do have a very good trial version).
