I discovered audiotool recently and I think it's really great free tool to make music. I've just started my journey with AT and I have so many ideas and plans about what to create with it, and very little skills to do this. Are there tutorials or articles that you could recomend me to watch/read to understand better how to make music with DAW like audiotool, because I know how to play guitar, I know to play piano (more or less), I know basics of music theory, but when it comes to making music using synths, effects, correcting EQ, mastering and so on - it's terra incognita for me. I've watched tutorials recommended by Audiotool but I think they are very general.
I need something that would lead me from basics to the most complex uses and functions of the Audiotool or DAWs in general.

Hlecktro's tutorials on youtube are a good place to start
In terms of mixing and mastering, I suggest the Youtube channel Produce Like a Pro. It's in a different DAW, but you can apply his tips to AT as well
experiment. thats how i learned, that and i asked a couple of people here and there if there were any tips and tricks that i hadnt known, which has helped, but for most of my time on AT, ive learned all of what i know just by experimenting and trial and error.
a lot of what you're going to be doing in the app is pretty similar to using any other DAW. I suggest learning some production basics, such as EQ (which really isn't an exact science, mostly it's just your own taste in how something should sound in the context of a mix), compression, audio synthesis (basic skills and knowledge are all you really need, the synths here lay everything out fairly simply), effect types, and basic mixing.
now as for the AT app itself, I recommend the board!
there's an extremely helpful manual here ( https://www.audiotool.com/board/manual ) that can help you with the layout and features.
the most helpful general advice i can give you is:
start simple
it's tempting to, but try not to jump headfirst into complexity. start with simple setups, and use as little as possible to get the sound and feeling you want.
building that skill will help you later on (and even currently) with maximizing the use of each and every aspect of a project, while also making it much easier to learn how the studio works and the functions and use of all the features
if you need anything else, let us know!
we may be an intimidating group at first, but this community is more than willing to help out with anything
welcome to Audiotool! happy producing :^)
remix things
if you think something sounds cool, open up remix and find out how it was made
turn knobs and flip switches and see what changes, that's how I started learning synth design
eventually you'll find out what does what, and what all the fancy words mean
also, enter plenty of remix comps, they're pretty fun and they get the juices flowing
a good place to start would be the "Contests" board
