Blocky visual glitches are visible only in the desktop area. They always appear when launching the Studio. Opening a new tab and going to a random page temporally solves the issue for some reason, but will reappear when opening a note track (doesn't happen with automations) whilst showing both desktop and timeline.
Firefox 94.0.2 on Arch with KDE, also happens with XFCE (tested on another device). Also happens on Ubuntu-based distros (tested only in KDE Neon). Doesn't occur on Chromium. Using the open-source amdgpu drivers, in case it matters.

Looks like a driver issue.
Having the same issue in Firefox on Linux Mint. What brand/model is your graphics card?
Mine is: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Navi 10 [Radeon RX 5600 OEM/5600 XT / 5700/5700 XT]
edit: nvm - you already stated you're using amdgpu. Same here.
I have an RX570 (Polaris 10).
The ArchWiki has a section on "WebRenderer corruption" in the AMDGPU page, suggesting a workaround but it didn't work in that case.
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/AMDGPU#WebRenderer_(Firefox)_corruption
(not sure if that's helpful or related in any way...)
Edit: the other device has some obscure super-low-end integrated graphics, so it doesn't really matter, I guess.
update: version 100 of Firefox and it's fixed
