im using linux parrot which is based on debian
im also using firefox if that matters

Linux is fine, I use it myself. And I don't have issues with Firefox, but AT develops for Chrome and recommends it to run the Studio.

i get that sometimes on Firefox
have you fully closed and reopened the browser?
that solves the desktop black devices glitch for me
