Unwanted Feedback in Drafts

Head Trauma Romance · started 2018-10-01 14:32 · updated 2018-10-02 00:00

I'm receiving large amounts of static feedback in my drafts following the recent update. I've updated booster, cleared my cookies, and have tried opening my draft without the booster.

Im using IOS Sierra Version 10.12.6 with a 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5 processor.

it sounds like your headphones are being twisted when its halfway out of the port

In my case it sounds like some of the synths are slowed-down / distorted. Think low-mid range noise. Without the worklet, it affects some specific longer sounds (percs and plucks are mostly clean). With the worklet on I cant display the desktop without have the whole mix crushed by distortion

also, once you open audiotool, the first thing you see is overload, for me anyway
its never done that

2018-10-01 16:23 · 2018-10-01

There's still a slight lag to it but I can deal with it

@andremichelle Just retried without the worklet and it's fine. There's still some distortion and glitchy noise when dragging devices/moving through the interface, but I can work with this. It seems like the main problem is with the worklet. Also, as @Tokofa noted the overload is "on" when the noise comes in. Anyways thanks for the quick support.

how to i stop audioworklet

2018-10-01 16:33 · 2018-10-01

Click the last icon on the top right (preference button); uncheck the first checkbox (enable worklet); close chrome; restart chrome and reload the app.

I had the same problem with using next right after the new update, saying overload and having a glitchy sound. What I did was restart booster, because it needs to update in this case. Once the update was done, overload is gone and I have no problem whatsoever on big projects. Everything works like a charm!

Just got back on and everything is working fine. Just checked to see the AudioWorklet is off for me, so I can only assume it was probably on earlier when I was having troubles.
