The values and units of most of the "Tune" parameters of the TR-909 are expressed in cents, but a few (Bass Drum, Snare) are still expressed as a percentage. All of the "Tune" parameters of the TR-808 are still expressed as a percentage. I think that all values should be changed to cents. That would be extremely useful to tune the drums.

Frequency would be great, if it's possible.
Wow, I wasn't aware that the 909's range was so narrow. It feels wider to my ear. Anyway, the 808's range then covers a full octave, from G1 to almost A2. Therefore you can tune it to any key you might be using.
Normalization of all value ranges will be covered by the upcoming audio engine.
All existing ranges will be revisited.
