The Tonematrix synth only sends note data to its Note Out connector when playing notes from its internal patterns. It does not send note data from notes coming from a note region, piano roll or the software keyboard. I think the synth should send notes coming from every possible source to its Note Out connector.

I can definitely live with that behaviour. I reported it for consistency. One question, though: How would any existing tracks be affected by adding note region output to the Tonematrix, if this function isn't available, therefore can't be made use of? Also, how could adding real-time note output like piano-roll or software keyboard (which I assume aren't part of the saved draft) affect any tracks?
