Stereo enhancer audio glitch

Master_68 · started 2023-12-29 22:05 · updated 2024-01-18 08:29

Whenever I try to change the tone on the Stereo Enhancer it produces a strident sound and glitches out the audio making it impossible to hear any sound untill I reload the page.

modulating the 'tone' parameter (for example dragging the knob up and down, or automating a big instant value change) on the stereo enhancer way too quickly causes the audio to cut out (in my opinion likely due to dc offset) most of the time "permanently" (no audio even after doing a "soft stop" or placing the playhead on a different part of the timeline); so if it cuts out "permanently" the only way to get audio back is to press 'stop' on the transport so that the audio engine is reset (a "hard stop") (or to reload the page i guess); also, with the booster running there is a small issue with the level meter staying at full volume even if i reset, but without the booster this doesnt happen

Adjusting the tone parameter's knob on the stereo enhancer device sometimes causes the audio to make a strident, distorted noise followed by complete audio loss. The only way I could find to get the audio back is to close the browser tab and reopen the project. But @th1rt33n already explained it better than I could lol
