Hey.
So, make a track, upon publishing open GENRE dropdown menu to select the TAG,
once Published go to your tracks page to see the track, It will be marked as UNCATEGORIZED.

This is an issue for me too but I put my latest track as ambient and it's now newbie when I pubbed it.
Fixed.
