Hi to whom ever can help me with this,

So I recently released this track and the entire thing revolves mostly around this one sample. Now the sample sounded fine while I was using it in the program, but once I published it and played it back the sample sounded like absolute butt! Like it's actually pretty hard to listen to now. It sounds like the bitrate just completely dropped after I published it. It didn't sound at all like this in the app and I need to know what I did wrong or how this can be fixed. Oh, and another thing... this sample that I'm talking about wasn't taken from the outside world or anything. What I did was I bounce looped a midi track that I had going into a soft-synth and had been using that. I had something like this happen a while ago with some sounds I recorded of a chickadee, but I figured that was probably just my bad recording instead, but this one's just too hard to ignore. I've included a link to the song for reference. Please HELP! I literally put like 4 months into this song.
